I know my feed is usually shoes, nailpolish, and other ephemera but a moment of seriousness: as a new(ish) mom, it was very, very, very difficult this morning to hear the voice of a four year old girl comforting her mother after yet another senseless shooting. I didn’t know how to express my profound sadness over this but my poet friend @cleowade (as usual) did. One of the most important things for the next generation is to have a voice—what’s happening right now is Not Right. Speak up for others and don’t let things like this slip quietly into the past #blacklivesmatter
