DO MORE! These are the words and the mantra that I have been living by since I got to be a part of Selma and learn what the people of those times did. Pardon me for not posting a lot about #AltonSterling and Now #PhilandoCastille but when things like this happen I first have to take it in and just really feel what I'm feeling and process it and then I think about the family and pray for them. I always felt I had to do more than a tweet or post. Though I know for me this is what social media can really be used for. It's to spread information and share thoughts and be heard. I believe that it is a step in the process to change. So I'm grateful and salute those who are using they're social media outlets to spread the word. But now it's time to do. And though I don't have all the answers, I will do my best to build with the people and comrades who are strategists activists and leaders so that when I know there is something for us to do to affect the next step in Change.
