I sprained my wrist during yoga ?. Being told to stay off the mat in any weight bearing wrist poses for 6 whole weeks wasn't what I wanted to hear, and as excruciating as the pain is, it's kinda been the best news for me. Yeah I can't do any chaturangas, planks and upward dogs etc but I've learnt to utilise my body in other areas. And the big lesson for me even though I'm a qualified yoga instructor has been that yoga isn't about flexibility (which I've relied on so much during my practice because I've got super duper flexi joints)...it's about ACTIVATING the muscles to move into poses and closing down the mind.
