????? I'm sad to say that I haven't heard back from @HoustonHumane about this serious issue. I've even sent their Exec Director, Sherry Ferguson, another respectful email and also reached out to her on her personal fb page to ask if she stop declawing cats and kittens at her HHS and if they would teach people in Houston about this inhumane amputation surgery and also about the humane alternatives like scratchers and @SoftPaws.
Also, I'm hearing that you all are trying to get through to them in respectful posts to their social media pages and they are just deleting them and blocking you. ??
This makes me really upset, since you are just trying to instill a modern and compassionate mindset in them in regards to declawing, so that no kitty has to be put through this cruel surgery and all that torture,pain, and suffering.
Please keep respectfully trying and take a screenshot after you post your nice comment so that I can add them to this story. Remember to NOT threaten them or be mean and just try to inspire them to do the right thing! Send your screenshots to citythekitty@gmail.com so I can add more to this story.
We must save the kitties in Houston from this mutilating and very unnecessary, barbaric, and inhumane procedure. ?
