This friendly little face is preparing to play a big role at Taronga’s Education Centre. Eora the Long-nosed Bandicoot will soon start meeting children and school groups, helping to teach visitors about the vital role bandicoots play in keeping our bushland ecosystems healthy. Much maligned as garden destroyers, bandicoots like Eora are actually fantastic pest controllers, hunting bugs, grubs and even funnel web spiders!
