I am so, incredibly sad to hear the news about Caroline Aherne. I was lucky enough to get to work with her on a Christmas special of The Royle Family and I can honestly say it was one of the most lovely experiences, I've ever had on Set. She was a comedy genius, but more than that, she had a huge heart and was kind, generous funny and caring with everyone. I only worked with her for two weeks but it was two of the most fun weeks of my whole career and she had a way of making you feel so comfortable and accepted, her vibrancy was infectious as was laughter. I remember laughing to the point of tears every day on that set and I feel honoured to have known her, even for such a short time. She really was special, you just don't meet people like Caroline everyday. You will be missed greatly, by many. Xxxx
