As I walk the halls of the National Civil Rights Museum in Memphis, Tennessee, on the grounds where Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Was killed, I am solemnly reminded of where this country has come from.
I see where we as a people have fallen, courageously faced oppression, and risen from the ashes.
He had a dream of equality, and in this current political climate I am glad to be reminded of this dream.
Please, whatever your views, take a moment and remember all that was fought for, bled for, and died for... then take a step back and truly think about how we can achieve this still incomplete dream.
