The trek around the Cordillera Huayhuash in Peru is said to be one of the most beautiful treks in the world and it is easy to see why. Steep, wild mountains reaching almost 22,000 feet of elevation, cascading glaciers, enough blue and green lakes to numb the mind, and stars that shine bright enough to burn their images in your memory forever. (Taken half way up Siula Pass at the Lakes Lookout 14,900 ft)
