In light of that, today's post is dedicated to my mother, who is the embodiment of the American Dream. She knows what it is like to have nothing and start from nothing. But in all of that, one thing that she maintained well and attributes to a big portion of her success is not letting anything but her own choice dictate her cheerful demeanor and countenance. This alone has opened doors that were otherwise impossible. It is easy to be swayed by the temperature around us, but it takes strength and character to remain steady regardless. Watching my mother cultivate these habits has taught me that the fruit from them never cease and only flourish more with time, and that for me, is the real dream and a true legacy. ✨
