Meet April, she is available for adoption at @WagsandWalks! April is a mellow, loving, gentle, soulful, happy, beautiful pit bull that gets along well with dogs her own size and doesn’t seem to notice dogs smaller. Currently being fostered in a home with a dog her size, April is polite and quiet. She would be a teddy bear with children and her favorite activity is rolling on her back for belly rubs. As a 5-6 year old pit bull that was over bred and then dumped in a shelter, she holds no grudges and like a typical pit bull, is forgiving and just wants to give and receive love. April was a volunteer and staff favorite at the shelter and we know it’s her unbelievably special disposition that captured their love and attention. She would make a perfect therapy dog as her calm energy is contagious. She walks beautifully on a leash, but don’t expect grueling hikes with this couch potato.
