Reading this article makes me so sad. “I love having a healthy marine environment. But is it healthy when one population grows so dramatically? It’s out of balance.” Someone thinking an endangered species not being killed is out of balance is absurd! Whenever we go in the water we're entering their natural habitat and home. 100-273 million sharks get killed ever year! That doesn't sound like a "healthy marine environment" to me. Adding protective sonar buoys and scouts is appropriate but thinking that we are more entitled to be in the water than they are is not. We enter the water at our own risk so arm yourself with knowledge and respect for these amazing creatures, not anger. They don't live to kill humans, and that's fact.
