Dad I know Father's Day will never be the same for u after today but I want u to remind u as u burry grandpa today that u have always been an amazing son n he knows that. Not only a great son but an amazing father n husband too. I want to take the time to thank u for being my number one fan. I still remember that story u told me when I was 20 , that u had a dream that I was on stage performing n that I was on TV n magazines. I looked at u like u were nuts bc I didn't even have a clue I'd be in the industry. Funny how five years after ur dream I landed my debut on TV, covers, film, music. Even w the bump in my road (falling in N getting out of an abusive relationship) I know it killed u to see my bruised up n lacerated body. I know it killed u to see my broken spirt But Dad it was with ur love and moms that brought me back from the dead. I look at this photo everyday to remind me how proud u were when I performed my song "in love w the DJ" back in 2014 at the Latin Mixx Awards NYC . A year N half after I got out that abusive relationship. I ran off stage to u n we cried. U helped me get my wings back and I haven't stopped flying. I love you so much. As grandpa lays to rest today know that he'll watch over us. Know that he's resting in peace. Know that couldn't be more proud of u as we are proud of u.
