Last night I slept badly. I was too hot & the fan was too loud ? My doggies, as much as I love them felt the need to sleep ON me as apposed to just next to me & I stupidly started reading my scripts before bed so mentally I was awake instead of winding down as usual. This morning I had 45 mins cardio to do. I got to 24 mins and thought fooooook this! I hated it. I wanted to stop, eat & go back to bed. Then it dawned on me that I wasn't actually physically tired. My legs were fine and I wasn't out of breath, it was all just in my head. Your mind will always quit before your body & you mustn't let it! I had a word with myself, reminded myself this is ONLY SHORT TERM My shoot has been brought forward so I'm pushing myself more then usual. I wouldn't normally train twice a day. (Cardio am & weights PM) I wouldn't normally be so restricted with my meals (bye bye carrot cake & Sunday dinner this weekend) What I'm doing now is so I can rock up to my shoot knowing I've worked my socks off & knowing I will feel great. With anything in life I hate the feeling of "I could have tried harder" so to anyone else who has those moments, push through. Don't belittle yourself into thinking you need to quit mid way through. Slow down if you have too, but don't stop until it's finished. ?????? PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT WHAT I AM DOING / EATING HAS BEEN PLANNED SPECIFICALLY FOR MY WEIGHT, HEIGHT & ACTIVITY LEVELS. I AM NOT RECOMMENDING ANYBODY TO DO THE SAME. CHECK WITH A QUALIFIED TRAINER WHAT YOU SHOULD BE DOING FOR YOUR INDIVIDUAL GOAL.
