Life is a series of choices. No matter where you come from, or what your circumstances were from birth, there is always a choice you can make. A choice to better yourself, a choice to choose and lead from love and light. A choice of knowing that the hand you were dealt is yours, and it's for you to make it the best possible hand you can. Today the world can be a very scary place. In a world where hatred and harm are extremely prevalent, it's our job to share our love and extend our hand to our neighbor. To make sure people don't feel alone. To embrace our differences and support the right to love whomever we want to. To support equality for all beings. Choosing to stand in an anti-hatred space is so much easier than what is happening today. I stand with the LGBT community. I stand with my sister who lives and loves within that community. I stand with humanity and I stand strongly for peace and love. I'm not naive. I know things will never fully change. And I know this post is not going to "change the world". But what I hope it does do, is even just reaches out to one of you , or two, or three....and maybe the next time you are confronted with your own chance to choose... I hope you choose the path that leads with love, compassion and empathy. ❤️
