The tragic events that happened this weekend left me deeply hurt and confused. My husband and I prayed last night asking God to please show us what we are not seeing. To help us understand how to continue spreading light in the midst of darkness. It's in humanity's DNA to grow and adopt change so there's hope that this nonsense will end. But at what cost? How many more people will have to die? As an "influencer" I can't turn a blind-eye from these obscure killings. We all need to spread positivity starting with the media outlets picking their stories to the celebrities who have social platforms/reach. It doesn't end there. We need parents to give their children the right tools at home. For the millennial generation to look up from their phones and busy lives to do a simple act of kindness. Myself included. When is doing the right thing going to be cool again? How many more bad things are going to happen that will make us wonder if "good" in this world still exists? The enemy wants us to question this, but I strongly feel that good is what you DO and it's all around us. If only we took the time to notice it more. About 2 months ago here in Los Angeles, over 150,000 people came from around the world to worship, pray and spread God's love in the rainy streets of LA for 15 hours straight at the #AzusaNow movement. During those hours THOUSANDS were healed, saved and blessed! It blew my mind that not ONE major media outlet was there to shine light on this amazing incident that made history! I felt blessed to know this happened in my community and was bummed that it wasn't "news worthy" enough to spread out. We need more of these stories. I hope you will read this and find comfort in knowing that the enemy will not win this. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims and their families. I will leave you with this, "The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion. When a land transgresses, it has many rulers but with a man of understanding and knowledge, it's stability will long continue..." ❤️ #proverbs28 #prayfortheworld #shinelight
