#RiversCuomo, frontman of Nineties nerd-rock giants #Weezer, turns 46 today. The band released their 10th LP, this year with a cover displaying Cuomo, bassist #ScottShriner, drummer #PatWilson and guitarist #BrianBell standing in white sand in front of a lifeguard stand, enabling Cuomo to call it the White Album. Now a husband and dad with two kids, Cuomo recently looked back on his early success. “In the Eighties, the fantasy, including mine, was you’d become a rock star and be rolling in girls,” he recently told Rolling Stone, “but it didn’t turn out that way.” Photograph by Peter Yang (@yopeteryang)
