On an Orlando street corner half a mile from #Pulse—the #LGBT nightclub where a mass shooting occurred early Sunday morning— Trenton Venezie held up signs promoting love and community to the passing cars. “If someone drives by and sees this sign and knows that someone is grieving with them and knows that they are feeling the same pain, it will help us,” Venezie, a frequent visitor of the club said. “It will help us find closure and move on as a community, as one group.” At least 50 people were killed and more than 50 others were wounded when a gunman opened fire and took hostages at the gay nightclub.
