I don't really know what to say on days like today. What I do know is that now is NOT the time to conflate an entire religion with one comparatively small group of hate filled extremists - in fact there is never a good time to do that because it's utterly f***ing idiotic - fighting evil with evil is really not the way to go (I'm looking at you rn Trump, you nuclear orange sack of human garbage). It is, however, a good time to show your love and support for the Orlando LGBT community in any way that you can! One way that you might want to do that is by donating to the Pulse Tragedy Community Fund; they are raising money to help provide grief counseling and medical bill assistance to those affected by the tragedy, the link to their GoFundMe campaign is in my bio. Sending so much love to the friends and families of the victims, to all the people whose lives were turned upside down today, to the entire LGBT community and particularly to those of you in Orlando. I'm so incredibly sorry that sickening, shitty things like this are still happening, but I have faith in the fact that love can still win and continue winning so long as we keep standing up for what we know to be right.
