I'm heartbroken and I'm angry. I'm so very angry. My heart goes out to all associated with this terribly tragic act of hatred and madness in Orlando. But I'm so VERY angry. When does it stop? When? It doesn't. You want to know why? Because it's too damn easy to get a gun - weapons of MASS destruction - in this country. The laws MUST change. They MUST. We owe it to every life lost to guns in this country. Anyone who owns a gun should do so under intense scrutiny - you must pass a test, learn how to properly use it, pay fees to own it, and have your name and address listed on a database. Just like the DMV does with your name and identity when you apply for a license to drive a damn car. It's all just so insane to me that it's more difficult to get a damn license to drive and own a car than it is to own and operate a gun. Gun control NOW! It's time. Damn it. IT'S TIME! My heart breaks for Orlando. For #Pulse. And for everyone else that has lost their life or family member to gun violence in this country. #GunControl now. AND we must stop the hatred, the ignorance, the homophobia, the extreme disregard for human life in this country and around the world. Love is the only answer. It is the only way to a better world.
