The one "leader" vet from the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association , in this story has asked all her member vets to ask their "staff, friends, and family members" to call to try to stop our important bill too. And she even told her NY vets who are personally AGAINST declawing, to call and tell the legislators that they oppose our Cat Protection Bill. Yep, I'm not making this stuff up my friends. She wants them to compromise their own integrity.
The other "leader" from the NYSVMS asked her vets to call the legislators and tell them that our Cat Protection bill is "detrimental to animals." WTH? Really? The only thing it's detrimental to is their pocketbooks. ??
When did these pro-declaw vets sell their souls to this inhumane procedure? Was it when they saw how much extra money they could make from doing it??
Declawing vets make an average of $30-$45 per toe. Around 2 million cats a year are declawed in America. I think your can do the math. ??Around 24 million cats in America are declawed. ???
