MOLLY UPDATE:
Hey all. So there's "good" news and bad... The former is that Molly's condition is a congenital deformity called RADIAL AGENESIS (or radial hypoplasia). Simply put, Molly was Born This Way. Cats with Molly's condition are also known as "squitten" (squirrel + kitten) because of the raised paw when they sit, much like a squirrel looks. She can get around OK but she still is, essentially, a disabled cat and I will have to watch out if she looks to be in discomfort or pain because it could be that the (ulna) bone has popped out of the joint.
The bad news is that Molly is FeLV positive, and unlike FIV (which Zowie has) is transmissible through saliva and mucus. If I'm to keep her, I will need to have the rest tested and then get them up to date on vaccinations - or else I will adopt her out to anyone who has no other cats, or whose cats are already vaccinated. For now, she remains isolated in a room on her own.
Also, Molly's vet (and transportation) bills came out of the donations from the #?SquadFund and they will be posted to our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/little.c8.catsquad) later on.
