We hiked 8 miles of the Kalalau Trail along the Nā Pali Coast, 6 of those miles in the pouring rain. It was fun, challenging, beautiful and treacherous. Every emotion forced it way through me, in the end rewarding me with a sense of accomplishment and thankfulness, a deeper connection with the earth, and a greater love for my traveling companions, whom I already loved so much. We were all there to celebrate Gary & Tamara's marriage, who shared some of the beginning of our hike with us. #AlmostHolm Someone was kind enough to place these rocks in a picturesque setting at the .5 mile point.
