Here is the story behind one of his favourite videos..."2 weeks ago the Beautiful Destinations Team were in the Philippines creating content for @TourismPHL. We spent 4 days in El Nido exploring the beautiful islands, white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. On our last day we got up at 4am to catch a small rickety boat out to Helicopter Island to prepare for the sunrise colours. Getting the drone up always leads to unique perspectives and in this case the islands from above looked like the backbone of a dinosaur.
I waited a bit until the sun peaked over the horizon so I could capture the shadows on one side of the island ?. Once the lighting was perfect I got the drone up in the air and the Jurassic Park theme music came on in my head ?. I thought it would be fun to start with a look down shot, lead into the beach (and wave movement) before beginning the pan up and revealing a cluster of beautiful islands. As I filmed this it brought back so many positive memories of watching Jurassic Park as kid.
