Domestic kitties aren't the only ones close to my heart. Big cats are also a huge passion of mine. I don't post about this often enough, that's for sure, but I do once in a while. This is the tip of the ice berg when it comes to big cat ethics. When you travel, DO NOT go to cub petting events. Don't support animal circuses. Don't visit zoos that aren't motivated by conservation (even then... It's questionable). On the contrary, support rescues like @bigcatrescue, @cattyshackranch @Kevin Richardson LionWhisperer & so on. They're no profit, and they only rescue cats. And they only have cats because they need to be rescued and are unfit for the wild... Cub petting is cruel. And it feeds something else that's cruel which is canned hunting. We must change our ways if we want future generations to see big cats in the wild. Not just lions. Tigers, leopards, panthers, Bobcats, cheetahs, lynxes... If it's not already to late. ?? #Repost @peopleagainstcannedhunting.
