Nwankwo Kanu (1993) and Samuel Chukwueze (2015) netted two of the most rapid goals in U-17 World Cup history, while the quickest in that competition’s final was registered by Wilson Oruma (1993). No surprise, then, that the Women’s U-17 World Cup’s fastest also came from a Nigerian: Soo Adekwagh’s goal, just 22 seconds into the nation’s first-ever match in the tournament, in 2008.
