From @kaigner: "For me, only one word describes Petra at night: MAGIC. Complete, magic. One is transported in time. I’d seen the Treasury of Petra in pictures-but, to me it was 'just another rock.' But, as we made our way under an almost-full moon, the stars glistened and deep history permeated the night air. I fell back from the group....beckoned by the chatter of my own footsteps...wanting to be alone with the ghosts and lives that had previously walked this dirt. The sandstone hills loomed bright with shadows and light; no flashlight was needed. I was in complete and utter awe." #landscapes
