Aboard the #USSBataan for 3 days while underway to #FleetweekNYC, we were met by a resupply ship, the #USSFarragut. The sailors aboard practiced a "UNREP" or underway replenishment. That means the ship was resupplied with fuel (you can see the fuel lines running between the two ships) as well as cargo, food and munitions. A very tricky operation, considering the ships are traveling alongside each other in the open ocean!
