#wineweek These are what our tester bottles look like when the grapes are being made in Monterey California where the vineyards are. This was a sunny day, a few years ago, where we were getting really close on our Barrymore Pinot Grigio and it was just all so exciting. I put together a little afternoon meal for all my girlfriends so they could try it. They are all the same friends I have had for twenty plus years, and we all tend to enjoy a nice bottle of easy drinking (not lacking in complexity) chilled wines with low alcohol content and a nice balance of acid and fruit. But always ending more dry than sweet. As different as we may be at times, our palates are so similar and our gratitude for these moments are never ending. Memories are made around the table. That's is why I put that quote on the back of our label, it's in honor of these women. @barrymorewines #family
