While diggin past my bedtime---(hey after the night I had & 10 hours of shooting show/rehearsal--a mofo gotta relax & ease up w his favorite jawn: music) I grabbed a vintage RS w/ #LetsDance era #Bowie on cover. Naturally I went to the reviews & was shocked: I thought #Poison was the only lead review a #NewEdition member got from @Rolling Stone (a glowing @@@@ rating that read like a @@@@@ ---it was indeed a New Jack Masterpiece of an album in 90) but in the bulk of the Lead Review of Funky Reggae: (w #EddyGrant & #MarciaGriffiths) is a @@@@ star review of the non reggae Bostonian's debut #CandyGirl---but since #MusicalYouth had owned the previous summer the heavily accented Roxburyians got lumped in #AllSoundAlike syndrome? ???? rest of these reviews were interesting too: Nona Hendryx got a strong @@@@. Bboy downtown scenesters #ESG a @@@@ for their masterpiece moody (unfortunately their labelmates #LiquidLiquid didn't fare much better with the more popular Optimo @@1/2---RS couldn't even call a classic when it hit them in the face with #Cavern (called it shapeless). Was shocked #AngelaBofil's #TooTough got a'@@@1/2---lemme get to bed I'm about to fall down rabbitreviewhole
