Daisy Update:

For those of you who are new to @little.c8, this beautiful girl is Princess Daisy, my foster-to-adopt. ?

I have been fostering-to-adopt Daisy (a former stray cat) since December 2, 2015, and it's taken so much longer to assimilate her than any other cat I have ever had in my life. Honestly, I wasn't expecting such a challenge because her previous fosterer told me she was being bullied by other cats (which is usually easier to solve) but it turned out that Daisy has a very nervous disposition and is the one who strikes out first at the other cats (with the exception of Zowie, with whom she gets along with fine). Ever since Daisy came to live with me, I have tried the #Feliway spray, catnip, #Thundershirt (thank you @sherlockandco ❤️), and, thanks to the #?SquadFund donors: @spiritessences, Feliway diffuser, Calming Chews by Pet Naturals of Vermont and VetIQ Serene-um drops... all to no avail. ?
Apart from this behavioral issue that I have NEVER experienced in any cat before (I'm almost 30 and have lived with cats my whole life btw), Daisy is very sweet and loving towards humans, and I think she still deserves a chance so I don't want to give up on her - but, I do believe it's finally time to take her to the vet and consider medication. ? I want to know if anyone has had experience with medicating their cat(s) to help with what I'm guessing is some form of feline anxiety, please feel free to let me know what you think below. ?
