Before leaving #Nashville this morning, I was the high priest at the wedding of @truecouchpotatoes (Adam Ferguson & @xhuntersammyx). They'd gone to my show at @zaniesnashville last year, hoping to get engaged on the live podcast. But when the show ended, we'd forgotten - so Adam proposed to Megan outside the club instead. This year, they Tweeted me about getting married during my Q&A, with Rev Kev using all the powers invested in him by the @universallifechurch to seal the deal. But when the 9pm show ended after midnight last night, I checked Twitter to see Tweets from Adam reminding me I'd forgotten Adam and Megan's wedding request. Mortified, I offered to marry them when I was next in town (hopefully for a show at @theryman in Feb/March), but they were too in love to wait nearly another year. So rather than disappoint the Kentucky couple, I offered to marry them in my @alofthotels suite at 10am this morning. The kids said yes and before I was whisked off to the airport en route to @planetcomiconofficial, I bound two people in holy matrimony. It was beautiful. The bride wore a @スター・ウォーズ Rebellion dress and the groom wore couture from the exclusive @jayandsilentbobstash hockey jersey line. I was honored to be there as these crazy kids start the adventure of a lifetime. I try to fill every day with love & comics. Today, I didn't even have to try. Congrats, Megan & Adam!
