I will never forget how proud I was to be wearing my country's name and walking on that stage in front of millions. Also seeing so many Philippine flags around me in the theater. But now that I am Miss Universe, I represent you. Wherever you may come from. Whatever your belief is. I am your ally. I am proud to be a Filipina, I am proud to be Asian, I am proud to be a woman and I am proud of my LGBT friends. Today is National Asian and Pacific Islander HIV/AIDS awareness day. Slowly but surely, we will be not classified as "others"anymore. I promise to be the voice of people of color. It's my great honor. :) and responsibility :) ? #tbt
