It isn't about "white people problems" it isn't about being a brat. It is about, when you pay for something, anything- be it a sandwich, a ticket or a car- getting what you paid for. My letter this morning, the letter I used for this same airline last week and every airline before, is written specifically per the BS guidelines that airlines require. What the agent did this morning was make up a rule and then act as if her letting me fly was some sort of benevolent act on her part. I tweet at airlines so they can be held accountable for causing unnecessary stress- I fly a lot and I don't like when I'm prepared and they make it difficult because their agent isn't trained, that shouldn't be my problem. Alaska CALLED me and apologized and said the agent was wrong. I didn't ask for miles or anything, I just want flying to be easy, especially when I follow the rules. We all know that most people have service animal letters and it's total garbage. That isn't the issue. The issue is that you asked for the letter and I provided it and your representative decided to interpret your rules in her own way. It's like how everyone has a RX for marijuana, most people want it for recreation and yet a doctor had to provide the prescription (in some states, fine fine). The veracity of their diagnosis isn't up to the dispensary to scrutinize, they have the RX and that is all that is needed. Case closed. Guilded cage closed! I have my letter so I can transport a dog that I like having and is a comfort to me when I travel to see fans every week. I do this almost every single week. Blanche now even has fans. All I'm trying to do is get from audience to audience on a flight I paid for. I'm not asking for anything other than that. I thank Alaska for being cool this morning unlike Delta who I will never fly again and can fuck off forever.
