When we made this song with our buddies @ithinkimcrashin & @jtroach, we spent some time reminiscing on those very 1st shows we played in Chicago for no more than 20 people, then a few months later 150 people, then a couple more after that, 700 people. Fast forward about 2 years & we played our biggest set in Chicago to date, Spring Awakening main stage in front of over 20,000 people. It was fucking beautiful. You know the best part? As I ran through the middle divider of the crowd, I saw the same faces smiling back at me as I did at the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd shows. This song is for those who have your back, no matter what.
