One of the greatest Uruguayan players of all time, Forlan scored 36 goals in 112 international matches. He was the joint top scorer by scoring five times as Uruguay came fourth at the 2010 FIFA World Cup, being recognised with the adidas Golden Ball award for the best player at the tournament.
