My aunt Karen Briscoe McFarland is 2nd from left is a key music figure from childhood who always musically treated me like an adult by 5 I knew the difference tween "Just Bein Myself" Warwicke & the "Track Of The Cat" Warwick. The diff tween "Life" Sly & The Family Stone & "There's A Riot Goin On" era Sly. Great teacher. Richard "Dickie" Booker was in my dad's previous group #LeeAndrewsAndTheHearts in the 60s & still to this day has an amazing raspy soulful voice---he is standing in center. My dad Lee & my mom Jacqui are on the right. It's a shame this album really didn't take off like it should have. They were on some hip #FriendsOfDistinction meets #5thDimension meets #HuesCorporation meets black version of #StarlandVocalBand (you Dr Dre production enthusiasts will also note this will be the album Dre pulled the "auuuuuwwwwwwYEAHHHHHHHHyaaaaah!" from on #TheChronic's #NuthinButAGThang (the sample after "just chill til the next episode: "AUUUUUUHHUHHHH.....)---anywho s/o to @thisisjohnbook for finding this for me.
