At this week’s Amgen Tour of California, we presented Norwegian TEAM KATUSHA star Alexander Kristoff with a custom Viking-inspired Zipp Super-9 Disc with Zipp Impress™ direct print technology. Kristoff, a native of Stavanger in southwest Norway, regularly posts great photos on his Instagram account of rides around his beautiful (and often snowy) homeland. So, we thought this custom Impress disc could provide extra motivation in time trials. Kristoff will debut his new disc at Friday’s Stage 6 individual time trial in Folsom, Calif.
Zipp’s Impress direct-print technology also is used in our exclusive NSW Series wheelsets. Zipp Impress graphics, light weight and durable, are printed directly onto the disc or rim. Think of it as a way to increase any rider’s coolness-to-weight ratio. ??? ? @photowil #zippspeed #atoc2016
