You don't choose depression, it chooses you. It's a demon that tries to keep you down and destroy you as you try to navigate though life as best you can with a smile on your face. But you are a beautiful human being who is special and loved by many, and nothing can take that away from you. I feel your pain and frustration. And the struggle to keep going each day fighting to find a purpose in this life. You're depression is real. It's an illness. But you're not weak or weird or ungrateful.
