People love to run with things and make them more sinister than they are and quite frankly it's exhausting. So let me be clear with my intent. First and foremost if I offended anyone in the LGBT I apologize to YOU cause that was never my intent. My comment was in frustration to what I see as trivializing womanhood As well as those transitioning. As an avid supporter of the community when I see contradictions it rubs me the wrong way. I commend Caitlyn for coming out but I'm disappointed in the constant posts and statements equating womanhood simply with hair and make up when there's so much more to it. Caitlyn is the most famous trans woman in the world and is against same sex marriage. Ummmm. I'm a just let that marinate for you guys. I voted for same sex marriage. So when u have this platform please use it to help the people you are now supposed to be representing. So when all we hear about is high heels, hair and make up and titties- I'm sorry-that's not taking it seriously-in MY OPINION. I have a very close trans friend that I've known for 20 years and she's shared so many heartbreaking stories about the confusion growing up, fear of rejection from ones family and the PAIN of changing ones body. That is very real! I'd love to see more then just embracing the FUN parts of being a woman- the glam-while women continue to be paid less on the dollar than men. Still don't have equal rights in many parts of the world and trans women continue to be abused and killed. That's the REALITY- so much more than the surface stuff and I just expect more. Can't pick and choose. If you're down with the cause- really embrace all parts of it. Time to get in formation Cait! This isn't hate- this is an opinion and I'm still down doe the cause. My record speaks for itself. Hate is wrong-debate is healthy! #NoH8 ??❤️
