Mike Ssenyobho - 14 years old.
Mike has been working in the Rubali Goldmine for 3 years now. His parents and 3 brothers and 3 sisters are still in the village he was born in. He has never seen a school from the inside.
I asked if I could do a portrait of him right after he played a game of soccer with his buddies from the goldmine, soccer is his favorite pastime. We brought 2 soccer balls for the kids when we first arrived at the mines, it gave me a great feeling to see them enjoying our gift in their free time. #stopchildlabour < please have a look at the link in my profile!
