My first @thisisground #storybox arrived in the mail yesterday. It was their April box with the theme "Grow." Upon reading the description on their site, I knew that I knew that I needed to invest in this particular month's story. What I did not expect was what happened upon first open. It was one of those Bigger Than Life moments where the journey I've been on, the chapters closed behind me and the precipice of a very significant marker point in my life were affirmed. I have felt like a rosebush who has been pruned down to the core in the last few years and this springtime season feels like the glimpse of the triple blooms yielded from the necessity of pruning. And while I am thankful for the entire process, I am so relieved to be right where I am. I finally feel the seeds of hope, heart's desires and dreams getting ready to sprout from a long season of germinating. So to open a box from @thisisground, a company who not only makes the highest quality leather products but who has soul and heart and relevance, inviting me to plant my dreams and watch them grow... left me undone. It felt like the grand send-off into a new adventure, one that I've been preparing for my whole life. And my arms are open and ready kissing winds ahead with a smile. •
PS - the gorgeous monogrammed leather cover with the green (dot grid!) Public Supply notebook that was also in this month's box will be the keeper of my memoirs in the road ahead. What a beautiful way to start anew and Grow. •
