Braids are so fun because they aren’t permanent. It isn’t like dyeing your hair. You can take them right out. They’re also a great way to get good texture. When you take them out, you suddenly have great waves or crimp. But they’re a trial-and-error thing in terms of hair length. Certain ones might not work for your hair type or texture or length, but others will. Pinterest and Instagram are great for braid inspiration. Just don’t take it too seriously -Lacy Redway
