Before I bid thee lovely people goodnight from my corner of the world, I'm going to leave this here in the name of #LupusAwareness month.

Lupus is, according to MayoClinic.org, "a chronic inflammatory disease that occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs. Inflammation caused by lupus can affect many different body systems — including your joints, skin, kidneys, blood cells, brain, heart and lungs." The various symptoms can be treated but there is no cure for the illness as yet.
