I've got some good news about these four paw declawed cats that I did a post about a couple weeks ago. ?❤️They were both thrown away because of litter box avoidance issues, but were thankfully rescued out of the high kill shelter by the amazing teamwork from @booandlou , @puddycats_citycats , and @mookeet75 .
Roxy (top) has found a new home with @gingergeorgefluff and her name is now Izzy. I can tell she's really happy! She thankfully hasn't had any problems with her litter box so far!
As far as Sammy, he's still looking for a new home in the LA area. ??❤️
Thanks to these caring people who sprung into action after I did the post.
The NYSVMS is working hard to try to kill the bill in NY that would protect cats like Sammy and Izzy from being declawed and thrown away. The NYSVMS says declawing cats can help keep them in a home. These unethical pro declaw vets and vet associations just make up these very weak excuses because many of their vets and board members make good money from amputating cats's toes. ??
