La planète Mercure (le petit point noir, dans le tiers inférieur de la photo), passe devant le soleil tel que l’on pouvait la voir de Boyertown en Pennsylvanie, aux Etats-Unis, le 9 mai. Mercure passe entre la Terre et le soleil environ 13 fois par siècle, la précédente occasion eut lieu en 2006. --
