"When I was little, she encouraged me to read about various places and get an education so I could truly understand not only my culture but the culture of others. She wanted me to see the places that she dreamed about. Now, whenever I travel, I take a piece of her with me. Even though she passed about 10 years ago, I will never forget her strength, her determination, and her sheer will to educate her sons and grandchildren so we could have the privilege of appreciating our world through travel experiences.
