Caption my face. hahaha I think my face is saying "Ummmm what the shit, Did I just do that?" Not everything in class is smiling, joking around or laughter, sometimes it's this face and something slick that comes out my mouth that'll make you pull up. I love my job but yes making this face comes with the territory. I can't smile when you don't get it. Like I say to my students all the time..."it's not fun being wrong, the fun part is trying to get it right" and once you finally get it it feels so good. Many dancers especially my US girls might write me or come up to me and say they love me but afraid to come to my class. I tell them be afraid of the fear that stops you from getting better. If you feel this way it's totally ok....you just need to find the strength to not give a shit about what I have to say. Once you have that strength you'll realize that what I say comes from love. After you'll be able to receive critics without feeling like someone is coming for you.
Just know that if you come to my class and eat me up alive I'll ask you where you teaching. Nobody's perfect....you'll probably be read once or twice so get over it. Me personally I love being read if it's from the right person ?
