Throwback! Not sure how old I am here but I'm the little fellow on the left making the other little fellow to the right my brother Valentine, who carries a big responsibility getting me into the fightgame and becoming the man & fighter I am today. All the way back when I was 14, he took me to the gym.. The infamous Chris Dolman gym all the way far in Amsterfam (1h drive) and we started kickboxing and wrestling.. 'For your discipline and to learn to defend yourself' were the reasons given.. It wasn't voluntarily, no no.. I wasn't given a choice. Often at that age u rather play Nintendo or piss around in the streets.. But every Monday-Wednesday & Friday it was 'on!' No excuses. And as much as I sometimes disliked going and being dedicated at first... I'm thankful for it now! & still going strong after 22 years ?? #Hardworkpaysoff Looking forward To shine once again ~ @UFC #Rotterdam, may 8 ??
