This little ray of sunshine is Honey! She's a 7 year old Shepherd mix who is chipped, spayed, had all her shots, and a full dental cleaning - ready to go!. We didn't realize when we rescued her what a diamond in the rough she is - we just felt so sorry for her after learning she had been surrendered two weeks prior by her family of several years because they were moving. Now that she is out the noisy, stressful shelter she has blossomed into the most amazing dog. Our foster even said she's the best dog he's watched yet.
He wrote this about her:
Sweet natured and lovable, she wants nothing more than to be loved and part of someone's pack. She LOVES being outside and walking but is definitely not a runner. She's also perfectly content quietly sitting on the couch with her people. Gets along great with dogs, and has no issues with cats or kids. I don't think her previous owners gave her much physical contact and because of that she seems to crave and really soak up any petting, scratching, rubbing, or hugging that we give her. I'd classify her as a low energy dog with a twist of curiosity that really shows her cute personality.
