I've been writing down a lot of my thoughts lately. For myself, for the kids...just to remember this season and all its beautiful chaos. It all seems to go by in a blur these days. I've been reflecting on my @promptlyjournals prompt, "What are your child's strengths?" for Cru. With Rylee, her strengths were revealed so early on. They might have been easier for me to recognize because they were strengths we shared. She really is a miniature version of me in every way. But I feel like I'm starting to understand some of Cru's strengths as well at 19 months. This kid knows what he wants. He is passionate and determined and independent. And while some of these might feel hard to parent at times, I feel like directed in the right way, they can turn into something so powerful. Cru, I believe your passion and determination will serve you well in this world. I do. Can't wait to see what you become. You inspire me to dream bigger, work harder, and to live with purpose.
